On our first night in Theodore Roosevelt National Park in July 2025, we hiked the Wind Canyon Trail to watch the sunset -- and what an incredible sunset it was! Just outside the frame of this photo, hundreds of bison were roaming the grasslands, their loud grunts echoing across the canyon. Coyotes could be heard howling in the distance. And the sun painted the sky in gorgeous colors as it set over the Little Missouri River.
