I spent an entire day at Hurricane Ridge in Olympic National Park, waiting for the light to fall just right. As the sun began to set, the scene in front of me transformed into something more beautiful than I could have imagined. Then, as if on cue, a deer stepped into the frame and looked directly into my lens - a moment I’ll never forget.
