At the end of a fairly ordinary trail through the forest we came out to a clearing with this spectacular scene. The enormous cloud was laying in the valley between some mountains. It was just wild to be standing above a cloud...a very different experience from seeing clouds when flying in an airplane. These were right there in front of us and encompassed an enormous area.
