A friend from Lithuania visited the coast of Maine and one of our first goals was to take her to Acadia National Park. We hiked the Wonderland Trail on the southern coast of Mount Desert Island. She picked up and gently held her first live crab for the first time. I'll never forget the pure joy on her face and the sound of her laughter.
