This was such a fun, spontaneous moment running into this park ranger. We were hiking around a lake in Mt. Rainier and just as I was asking my sons, "which way is the lake?" this guy popped out of the trees and he and my sons pointed that way! He was so friendly and interesting to talk to and told us all about his fascinating work, the different seasons, plants and animals, etc. in the park.
