While in the Bay Area, I remembered that I hadn't been to Muir Woods National Monument since 2013. I managed to snag the first morning parking reservation, which allowed me to be the second person in the park. No crowds that early in the day. I had the trail all to myself! The morning light was absolutely amazing to photograph. I took so many images that morning, it was like an addiction to nature, even as the crowds showed up later in the day. Every step was so beautiful, Muir Woods was such a hard place to leave.
