What I think is a female Blue-winged teal feeding in the shallow ponds at Schwabacher Landing in Grand Teton National Park. I love when waterfowl do this "bottoms up" maneuver to feed on bottom dwelling plants. I sat and watched a group of these teals swimming around and feasting through the shallow water. One of them finally swam into slightly deeper water and started to do this to get at the plant life below her.
