On a stormy night in spring, the Palo Verde trees are in bloom with their colorful yellow blooms. One can also see a few tall Saguaro cacti with the Tucson mountains peeking through the brush. There is also a Teddy Bear cholla as well--a cactus with very painful stickers if one should be unfortunate to brush against one.
