While camping at Hart's Pass during the Fall larch season, we hiked up to the fire lookout at the top of Slate Peak for sunset. For a few minutes as the sun was going down, sunbeams peaks through the clouds and lit up the landscape, illuminating golden larch trees on the ridges in a couple of spots.
