This photo was taken in the the south tract of the refuge along the shoreline of Lake Remington on a beautiful high summer day in early August. The water lilies were in bloom and the reflections of the overhead clouds in the water produced a very scenic vista. This refuge is the only national wildlife refuge devoted to wildlife research and has a wonderful educational visitor center.
