We were scheduled for a river tour, and the trip was cancelled due to mechanical issues with the boat. We quickly searched for air taxi services and located someone willing and available to fly us over the Arigetch Mountains in Gates of the Arctic NP. It was spectacular and the mountains seems to go on forever, as far as you could see. It was a vast and amazing wilderness.
