My travel companion was not feeling well on our last morning. I was determined to take in as much of the majestic beauty of Mount Rainer as I could. While she rested, I headed out to hike a small portion of the skyline loop. After taking numerous photos and video calling as many of my loved ones to share the experience, this little guy came out and perched himself on a boulder, posing, as if to say “look at me and MY beauty”. I was sad that my friend couldn’t be there to see this, but ecstatic that I was able to catch a photo before he scurried away.
