Took a challenging hike through several inches of fresh snow on a clear morning after the previous day and night's snow. I usually like some clouds for added interest, but this worked also. I'm fortunate because I live close to the canyon. I've taken pictures of this unique tree several times in different seasons and time of day. Fresh untracked snow with a crystal clear sky seem to go well together.
