While driving through the park we noticed several desert bighorn ewes and a somewhat younger male along the road. We stopped and took a few pictures before continuing. We eventually turned around and backtracked, and this time in the same location saw a mature Ram that looked to be keeping watch over the ewes, so we stopped again and got out this time. It was like he was posing for us. He didn't appear to be concerned or worried but moved to a different location a couple times I assume to get a better view. At each location he would turn his head 2-3 directions then move to another location where he could see better and turn his head again. Couldn't have been better for pictures and I was able to capture several photos that came out very well.
