After 60 years of visiting the park and Cades Cove, this past weekend was the first time I've ventured to take Rich Mountain Road. I'm so happy I did! Stunning mountain laurel, bird songs, and not another person in sight, not to mention the views. I snapped this photo along the way of Cades Cove below.
