After 60 years of visiting the park and Cades Cove, this was my first time on the Rich Mountain Road. And what a view! This breathtaking aerial view from Rich Mountain Road showcases the layered beauty of the Great Smoky Mountains, with the historic Cades Cove Methodist Church's distinctive white roof nestled like a small beacon in the vast green valley below. I'm so happy to see the cove from this new perspective, and very proud to have captured its beauty in this photo. I'm already planning my next visit with autumn foliage.
