After visiting Margerie Glacier, our cruise ship slowly turned around and exited the Tarr Inlet. The southwest facing coastline was devoid of snow and ice, but the weathering from past glacial flows is apparent. The terrain rises above the bay, with Mount Abdallah (5964 feet) in the background.
