Johns Hopkins Glacier is a 12-mile (19 km) long glacier located in Glacier Bay National Park and Preserve. Johns Hopkins Glacier is found at the terminus of the long and narrow Johns Hopkins Inlet, with smaller Gillman Glacier merging from the left. This has been confirmed to be one of few glaciers that are still advancing rather than shrinking. Mount Salisbury at center (12000 feet) and Mount Quincy Adams (13650 feet) to the right reach up to the heavens like sentinels guarding the glacier.
