"Candy Landscape" - Vibrant pink, red, and orange striations compliment the white stripes of a sandstone formation known as 'The Lollipop' pinnacle in White Pocket, Vermilion Cliffs National Monument Arizona. This beautiful eye candy dates back about 180 million years old! Sediments deposited on top of sand dunes in the Jurassic period later petrified to create the unique twisting rocks. Getting there requires a 4x4, a sense of adventure, and advanced navigational skills because the many winding roads are unmarked and there are numerous patches of foot-deep sand to go through at a high speed in order to not get stuck.
