This park was a pleasant surprise. The dunes are much larger than at Indiana Dunes NP, and every day at this park can be very different. The wind constantly shapes and reshapes the dunes. The day we arrived, the dunes were "normal" in their appearance. The next day, after strong winds throughout the night, we found several places where the wind sculpted and revealed beautiful patterns of sand colored by moisture. This shows one of those places.
