In our National Parks Quest, we have been surprised by some parks, and this one was a bit of a surprise. It is interesting, and we didn't expect to find nesting Frigate Birds who were there when we visited. We chose to fly to the park, arriving in the afternoon just as the Yankee Freedom Ferry was departing. We had to share the park with only a few others who were there camping or also on our plane. I was able to get lots of shots without a crowd of people, and the light was nice. This shot was taken standing on one of the ramparts, looking into the fort. This was a fun park to visit.
