Driving to Canyonlands National Park, we drove through Bears Ears National Monument. Along the way, we encountered this scene, which compelled me to stop and shoot because of the unique lay of the land. Bears Ears is an underrated area that should just be added to Canyonlands NP, in my opinion. Bears Ears NM is co-administered by the Bureau of Land Mgmt and the US Forest Service.
