We decided to camp in Yellowstone National Park for our last night on the road. July tends to be quiet for wildlife viewing as they go up the mountains to escape the heat and search for food. But I still decided to head out at sunrise to see if I could spot anything. Almost immediately I spotted this beautiful sow walking the beach along the shores of Yellowstone lake. Initially it was still too dark for proper photos, but as the sun came up I was to snap some of my best bear photos to date. A perfect way to end our summer road trip if you ask me.
