Hiking up Skyline Trail from the Paradise visitor center, we enjoyed a powerful, majestic view of Mount Rainier. Snow was still on the ground in July, and the reluctant hikers didn't seem to want to go much further up the trail. The Muir Snowfield and Paradise Glacier are straight ahead, with Anvil rock prominent to the right.
