Yosemite Valley is always so crowded so this time my friend Yanni and I decided to go to some of the less visited areas of the park. One of these areas was the Merced Grove of giant sequoias, the smallest sequoia grove in the park ( it contains about 20 or so trees). But so what - the site of even one mature sequoia is enough to fill the heart with wonder.
