I noticed this bald eagle hunting ducks near Soda Butte, on the Lamar River. It was winter time and I decided to pack up my camera gear and perhaps get a couple of images. The eagle had a young juvenile off in the distance counting on it's success. I was laying on my stomach in the snow, camera fixed on this beautiful specimen, it begins to call out to the young eagle and here are the results of that encounter. Yellowstone seem's to always provide me with a special momment on almost every outing, such a magical place in the winter month's.
