On October 9th and 10th, 2024 my 15 year-old son (Keegan) and I went on our first ever Kayak trip in Page Arizona. Since we never have Kayaked before, we first went on a guided 2-mile Kayak trip of the Antelope Canyon on Lake Powell.
However, these two pictures were taken the next day when we went on an adventure of a lifetime Kayaking 13 miles down the Colorado River in the magnificent Grand Canyon after being dropped off just below the Glen Canyon Dam. While taking over 100 pictures, we were in awe of the majestic beauty of the stunning canyons as we quietly paddled our way past the famous Horseshoe Bend Canyon.
We were the last Kayakers to be dropped (at noon) just below the dam and were totally alone the entire 5-hour trip with no other Kayakers seen on this incredible Kayaking journey. This tranquil experience can never be adequately described with pictures or words. A father-son trip of a lifetime!!!
