This photo was taken during a solitary multiple day backpacking trip in the Guadalupe Mountains. I booked a site at a more desolate and less visited part of the park, which was a gruelling 10 mile hike from the Visitor's Center, and I didn't see another human being during the entire trip! I did, however, see a coyote and a gigantic rattlesnake!
