"Lady Aurora Over Canyonlands National Park"
These insane views of northern lights (Aurora Borealis) over the stunning Shafer Trail at the Island in the Sky district of Canyonlands National Park were captured on the night and early hours of May 10-11, 2024. That night, a historic geomagnetic storm produced a stunning display of northern lights that were visible across several parts of the world and I happened to be at this National Park. The show wouldn't end and I couldn't stop capturing that night's beauty across several viewpoints in this park. My favorite from that night is this image of the stunning lights over some of the most jaw-dropping canyons of the nation. It was very special for two reasons. One being my first time watching Aurora Borealis and two, being able to view this natural wonder along with my parents.
