I started backpacking after age 50, and want to inspire everyone to get outside and enjoy nature! On this backpack trip, we visited Canyon Creek Meadows in central Oregon during late August when the wildflowers were still blooming. We set up our little tent where we could see Three Fingered Jack at sunrise and mountain goats on rocky outcroppings nearby.
