After a day of hiking in Joshua Tree NP during the Christmas break, I asked my daughter if we could stay a bit longer so I could capture the beautiful sunset. She started to get chilled, so I gave her my down jacket to wear. Seeing the vivid colors from the clearing storm, I asked her to "make like a Joshua Tree."
