After a day of snowshoeing at Mt. Rainier National Park, I was sitting down and eating my lunch while admiring the mountain. The lack of new snow had created beautiful patterns and textures in the snow. Then - out of nowhere - a hiker tumbled down the mountain, righting himself amidst those beautiful snow patterns. I happened to have my long lens on at the time and waited for the hiker to get in a great spot of the composition.
