I was heading up to my favorite sunset spot for a last minute hike and noticed that the air smelled like smoke. When we got to the top it was obvious there were some wildfires that had started in the valley below. I was able to only shoot two frames before the horizon was completely covered by smoke. After leaving the park I received a notice that the rangers had closed the park due to wildfires in the area. This would be one sunset I would never forget!
