The Uwharrie National Forest has a beautiful lake to hike around as well as trails through the forest. This picture was taken on an unpaved trail along the lake. We stayed in the Arrowhead Campground where the campsites were very large and right in the forest. A short walk from our site was a paved trail that went around a large portion of the lake.
