My family and I took a trip to Kanab to visit the surrounding areas over spring break; we actually made the trip twice. While there we heard we could apply to go to the wave through a lottery system. After two trips to Kanab and quite a few entries into the lottery to get a permit I was actually chosen. Then we hired a guide to take us there, but with all the rains they warned us that we might not get to go. We did end up getting there down a dicey muddy drive and it did not disappoint us. After spending time down in the area we hiked above it and I turned around to capture the whole area when I notice two individuals hiking in the background so I captured the shot.
