My husband and I had a private flight into Lake Clark landing along the shoreline. The pilot/guide took us on a walk towards the river in search of the coastal bear. While on our walk, we came upon another group who asked us if we had seen the eagle in the tree. We are so glad they said something to us as the eagle was sitting in the high branch of the evergreen tree. The eagle is such a majestic sight to see! Right after seeing the eagle a bear did walk right past us on a trek to the river, not paying any attention to our group! It was a remarkable day in the National Park!
