This photo was taken on the West Rim Trail at Zion NP in the spring of 2024 and demonstrates that adventure is not just for the young. I am a 63 year old woman and ventured to Zion on a solo trip in April 2024. In the summer of 1984 I spent a summer in Zion as a Student Conservation Association intern/volunteer. This placement changed the trajectory of my life. I had always wanted to return but didn't make it back until 40 years later. I have attached a photo from 1984 and tried to re-create a similar photo in 2024.
