Little Mount Pisgah has a halo this morning. The Cherokee who lived on this land saw the halo as an invitation from ancestors or guardian spirits to climb the mountain where the veil between us and the spiritual world had been opened.
Scientists call it a Lenticular cloud that forms in windy conditions at the peak of a mountain.
