In the summer of '82 I worked in Zion National Park as a Student Conservation Association intern/volunteer. I've been wanting to return to Zion since then but time slipped away from me after marrying and having four children. The kids are grown, and I am now divorced and aged 63. In the spring of 2024, I returned for the first time since 1982 and asked another tourist to take my picture under the sign. I was THRILLED to be back at Zion. Little did I know, a park ranger played shenanigans and photo-bombed my picture. I LOVE this picture!
