I took this photo on Friday, August 2, 2024 on the Maple Pass Trail. It's the most beautiful area I've been to in the country and without question my favorite picture I've ever taken. Large parts of the area were experiencing wildfires at the time, and I'm so grateful for the experience I got to have and for my friends who were fighting wildfires so that I may hike.
