This photo of a beautiful Snowy Egret was taken in its winter home at Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge. This National Wildlife Refuge is a beautiful spot, and it is great to spot all sorts of wildlife while staying at a safe distance in your car. This bird in particular put on quite the show with its stunning feathers and long, beautiful wings. The bird appeared to be taking its final bow at the end of its amazing preening show.
