Capitol Reef is one of my family's favorite national parks. We have been returning annually to camp and hike since my children were infants. No matter how many times we visit, it still feels new to us. During our most recent visit in late May of 2024 we explored a trail we had never been on and were blown away by the views. As we hiked back to our campsite during sunset, I snapped this photo of my husband and kids ahead of me on the trail.
