My favorite Southern Utah camping area is the Hurricane Cliffs for many reasons. The weather is fun. The views are incredible. The sunrises and sunsets are off the charts.
One evening after a rain cloud passed, the sun hit the mesa to the south of us and I went outside to take some photos. Utah is usually sharp, with violent weather and a steep landscape, but this photo somehow makes everything look softer. My camper in the foreground and the sunset-colored mesa behind made a beautiful scene on a late March evening.
