During a spring trip to Colorado, my aunt and I set out early in search of wildlife. After hours of exploring mountain trails, we stopped at a rocky ridge where I caught a glimpse of orange fur—a red fox perched on an outcrop.
I carefully positioned myself and waited as the fox moved gracefully across the rocks, pausing occasionally to scan its surroundings. When it finally turned toward me, the morning light illuminated its golden coat and piercing gaze.
This shot became one of my favorites, a reward for the patience and quiet observation it took to capture such a serene and majestic moment.
