Weston Pass is on a lightly traveled, maintained dirt road, CR22 (west of Hwy. 285) in Pike national forest. There is a zinc mine at the top and probably other mines in the area. This photo was taken just below the pass on the east side of the pass. It was the huge, colorful boulder that caught my eye. The pass is in the background. There are many dispersed camping opportunities as well as official FS campgrounds available along the pass road.
