When visiting Mesa Verde one must schedule a walking tour of at least one of the cliffside ruins. We chose the Cliff Palace. Our tour guide Ranger Eric confidently guided us through the steps and ladders to access the awe inspiring landmark while also enlightening us to the site's significance and history.
