Watching whales bubble feed is an experience like no other. This rare event only happens a few weeks in the summer. Groups of whales circle while blowing bubbles to form a bubble trap to enclose schools of fish before blasting up from underneath to consume them. The sea birds also like to join the feast, but sometimes get consumed in the process as captured in this photo. One of the most unique nature demonstrations I've ever experienced.
