The Harding Icefield in Kenai Fjords National Park was a spectacular site to see. The sheer amount of snow and ice was near unfathomable. It really alerted me to the importance of doing my part to care for the earth and protect our polar regions. While on this hike, a plane flew over the icefield. Viewers need to look closely to spot the plane flying over, and it really puts in perspective the image.
