August first in Northern Minnesota, the Superior National Forest is stunning. The foliage is thick and green, the lakes are full of clean, fresh water. It's called Superior for a reason, the most beautiful forest in America has many different types of trees and animals, such as moose, lynx, mountain lion, otters and bobcats. The water is some of the cleanest in the world and many varieties of fish and aquatic life thrive in the many lakes, ponds, and rivers.
