My wife and I love the national parks and have visited 43--many multiple times. This was our fifth visit to Arches National Park but the first time we ever visited in the winter. Despite it being January, it was a sunny pleasant day so we were able to hike to Delicate Arch without being concerned about snow-packed or icy trail conditions. When we arrived at the arch, we were greeted by numerous ravens warming themselves on the rock face and hoping for handouts. I like this close-up photo of one of the ravens because if you look closely you can see some of the nearby rock formations reflected in its eye.
